Background Experience
I'm someone who builds things—digital, physical, and everything in between. Over the years, I’ve taught myself how to move between software, hardware, and design depending on the project's needs. I adapt between code, prototypes, and design choices—always aiming to make whatever I’m building practical, reliable, and a genuinely pleasant experience.
Hardware
My love for building extends into the physical world. I've worked on circuit design for projects like battery stress testing at Maeve Aerospace and contributed to hardware development at Float IoT. Outside of those roles, I’ve spent a lot of time in my home office/workshop modifying 3D printers into tools like CNC machines, building custom PC setups, developing a filament recycling system, and many other side projects. I often work with Raspberry Pi, Arduino, sensors, and mechanics to experiment and automate. These projects have helped me sharpen my skills in electronics, systems thinking, and hands-on problem solving.
Software
As a software developer, I've had the chance to work across the full stack—frontend, backend, DevOps, and deployment. I’ve built everything from internal tools and dashboards to customer-facing platforms, and I’m comfortable owning a project from the first commit to long-term maintenance. My background in computer science helps me break down complex problems and think ahead about scalability and structure. Collaborating with other developers and stakeholders has been a big part of my journey, and the challenges—like learning new tools or debugging tough issues—have pushed me to grow. I still really enjoy building things from scratch and turning ideas into something functional, clean, and usable.
Design
Design, for me, is about solving problems in a way that’s clear, usable, and grounded in the real world. I’ve worked on everything from office furniture for Ahrend to robotic automation for greenhouse systems at TomatoWorld. That hands-on experience, combined with what I’ve learned from frontend development and collaborating with UX/UI designers, has helped me build both digital and physical products that make sense to the people using them. Whether I’m prototyping a filament recycler or mapping out a product’s interface, I think through how it’s used, how it’s made, and how it fits into someone’s day. I sketch, design in CAD, and test until it’s solid, and often end up guiding the project as well to ensure quality and maintain deadlines.
Project Management
Project management has been a key part of every project I've worked on—from Ahrend and TomatoWorld to the filament recycling system and my work at Float IoT. I’ve often taken on roles like team lead, frontend lead, or overall coordinator, managing timelines, priorities, and communication between teams and clients. I scope out what needs to be done, break it down into clear steps, and make sure everyone involved has what they need to deliver. My style is hands-on and transparent, focused on making steady progress without overcomplicating things.
